Eyal Gamliel, Attorney
Eyal Gamliel graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara, with a B.A. in Business Economics and continued to receive is law degree at the prestigious USC's Gould School of Law. He currently works in our Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution department coming from one of the world's largest firms, Latham & Watkins, LLP.
Eyal has completed the Los Angeles County Bar Association DRS Basic Mediation Training (30 hours). He has completed the Martin Luther King Dispute Resolution Center “Mediating the Litigated Case” (10 hours). He has mediated approximately a dozen cases on the pro bono panel of the Los Angeles Superior Court. Attended dozens of mediations as a litigant or attorney. His expertise and mediation knowledge is truly unsurpassed.
John Luessenhop, Attorney (Licensed in New York)
John Luessenhop is currently the Chief Financial Officer of South Cord Holdings, which operates four major cannabis retail stores under the brand “Connected in the area south of Los Angeles. He is familiar with both the law and regulations for cannabis businesses as well as their practical applications.
Mr. Luessenhop graduated with honor from Georgetown University Law Center in 1986 after receiving a B.A. degree from the University of Virginia. He entered the cannabis world based on his strong corporate experience gained from six years as a Wall Street attorney, where he engaged in general corporate law along with securities regulation.
John is still a practicing attorney in New York state as well as California. He is part of the Cannabis Law and Dispute Resolution at the Bensamochan Law Firm.
Paulina Buitron, Office Manager

Paulina Buitron has over 20 years of experience as a paralegal. She has been with the firm for nearly 15 years and has handled various bankruptcy cases as a case manager. Currently, she does client intake, client management, case management, and office management. Paulina is bilingual (Spanish) and is more than essential to our operation.
Daniel Phelan, Paralegal

Daniel Phelan is an experienced civil litigation paralegal with specialization in bankruptcy. He has been with the firm for over 10 years.
Christian Colmenares, Legal Assistant

Christian Colmenares has been with the firm as a legal assistant for over two years. Christian graduated from the University of Southern California in May 2022 and is set to begin Law School this fall.
Karina Arita, Administrative Assistant

Karina joins the firm as a student with the long term goal of becoming an attorney herself. She is highly organized, and skilled. She is also fluent in Spanish as well as English.
